Triple tier gym lockers are commonly found in aquatic centers, fitness centers, gym locker rooms, sports clubs and sports training facilities. They have some vertical hanging space for clothes, gym equipment, jackets and towels, and patrons can use the bottom to store other personal items such as gym bags, purses and shoes. We only acquire used lockers that have been built to the highest quality standards and will provide you with years of maintenance-free, flawless service.
Most of the used triple tier athletic lockers we sell will include the following features:
- DOORS: 14 gauge diamond-perforated doors
- BODY CONSTRUCTION: 16 gauge diamond-perforated sides and 16 gauge solid steel tops and bottoms
- VENTILATION: Diamond-shaped perforations provide plenty of air circulation and ventilation to help gym clothes, towels, uniforms and swimming suits dry out quickly and lessen the not-so-pleasant odors commonly found in locker rooms and gym changing rooms
- HANGING FEATURES: One double prong ceiling hook for hanging bags, hats, clothing and other items vertically
- HANDLES: Stainless steel recessed handles that are catch-free to eliminate protrusions from the face of the locker door
- LOCK OPTIONS: Accept multiple locker locks, including built-in combination locks, built-in key locks, coin-operated locks, combination padlocks, digital locks and keyed padlocks. Some were originally made to accept only one type of lock (typically built-in styles or padlocks), which will be clearly indicated on the specific locker listing.
- BASES: Most were previously installed on wood or concrete bases and don't have legs. Although they do have a solid 1" frame underneath and can be set directly on the floor, we recommend providing a base to give them greater stability, keep them elevated and protected from the elements, and make it easier to access contents stored inside. The most common base height is 4" and the most common materials to use include metal, wood and concrete curb.
- CONTINUOUS DOOR STRIKES: Full-length door stop flanges keep latches and frames from getting damaged due to continuous use
- HINGES: Either continuous piano hinges or two heavy duty, double spun, full loop, tight pin, five-knuckle hinges per door
- LATCHING: Secure two-point latching that prevents prying and keeps patrons' belongings safe
- NUMBER PLATES: Most have number plates, but they are probably not in sequential order. We have number plates in stock and can provide you with them or install them for a small upcharge. If we do install them prior to shipment, please remember that once the lockers arrive you will need to place them in the correct order.
- PAINTING: Have been originally painted using a premium paint process that provides an attractive, durable and scratch-resistant finish
- QUIET FEATURES: Nylon glides and rubber bumpers minimize noise and provide for a smooth operation
NOTE: Any exceptions or upgraded features to the specifications listed above will be clearly indicated on the specific locker listing.
